Residency Trained in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Diabetic Reconstructive Surgery, Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine, Biomechanics, Dermatologic Conditions and Conservative Treatments. Dr. Swift has pursued additional specialized training in external fixation, minimally invasive surgical techniques, trauma surgery, plastic surgery techniques, and reconstructive surgery focused on the foot and ankle. He has also had additional training with dermatopathologists in the diagnosis and treatment of dermatological conditions in the lower extremity.

BIO

Dr. Swift, raised in Washington, attended North Seattle College and Highline College in Seattle, Washington. He attended podiatry school at Barry University in Miami Shores Florida. Dr. Swift completed a comprehensive residency in foot and ankle surgery with rear foot and ankle reconstruction at Silverlake/Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles California. He trained with internationally renowned doctors specializing in foot and ankle trauma, reconstructive surgery, diabetic reconstructive surgery, and ulcer prevention. He was also extensively trained in biomechanics and conservative therapy to help prevent surgical intervention when possible.

Dr. Swift continues his practice in Fort Myers and Bonita Springs specializing in external fixation, minimally invasive surgical techniques, trauma surgery, plastic surgery techniques, and reconstructive surgery focused on the foot and ankle.

In his spare time, Dr. Swift enjoys spending time with his family, playing bass guitar, reading and fishing.

Dr. Swift welcomes the opportunity to treat patients with foot and ankle problems with compassionate individualized treatment.  He values conservative treatment prior to surgery.  His focus is to help people maintain an active lifestyle.
