The Naples Basket Brigade aims to reach 30 local students each semester

October 15, 2015 – The Naples Basket Brigade, an ongoing charity effort that rewards economically challenged Collier elementary students and their families for scholastic achievement supported by the Anthony Robbins Foundation, aims to reach at least 30 students at the end of each quarter. Anyone can donate $65 and send a basket of food, clothing, and hope to an underprivileged student who has shown exemplary academic success. In addition to a few of life’s basic necessities, baskets also include a book from the Anthony Robbins Foundation on how to achieve and maintain life-long success. 100% of the money collected goes towards stocking and delivering each basket on the donors’ behalf. None of the money is used for administrative or secondary purposes.

Last year, the Naples Basket Brigade delivered over 100 baskets in Collier County. This year the goal is 120, or 30 baskets every quarter. The deadline is fast approaching and more donor participation is needed to reach this goal.

The Naples Basket Brigade is a vital way for Collier County to encourage academics and raise our community’s overall standard of living without government support or dependency.

The Naples Basket Brigade urgently needs the support and involvement of Collier residents and businesses for our program to continue making a difference in our community.
