November 24, 2013 – As Southwest Florida’s leading heating and air conditioning company, Conditioned Air prides itself on keeping customers comfortable inside their homes. Recently, they found a way to extend that comfort level to future customers as well.
“With a company like ours, people have a certain level of expectation,” says Keith Walker, Conditioned Air president and COO. “Our goal is to exceed that level of expectation before our truck ever pulls in their driveway.”
To accomplish this, Conditioned Air hired Naples, FL company 4What Interactive to design an internet-based communications hub on their website. This portal serves as an information gateway so new customers know exactly what to expect when an employee from Conditioned Air arrives.
“We wanted to engage their customers in a whole new way on their website,” says Wade Mastro, 4What’s COO. “We created
two videos for Conditioned Air. One covers the assessment phase. And, the other is about the installation of a new system. They cover everything step by step, and explain why the employees do what they do. That way there are no surprises.”
“4What suggested we put these videos on the website so our customers could watch them 24/7,” says Jeff Zanella, general manager of Conditioned Air’s Fort Myers division. “It turned out to be a great idea. 4What did an excellent job and our customers are better informed because of it.”
The high-tech messaging tool let’s customers know such things as why a heat-load assessment is critical to choosing the proper cooling equipment, and how long a crew will be in their home installing the new system. It also gives Conditioned Air an opportunity to let people know what to expect after the sale.
“At Conditioned Air, our goal has always been to make our customers as comfortable as possible,” says Walker. “If they know what to expect, folks tend
be more comfortable. That’s why we wanted to create these videos, to give our customers a leg up on what’s going to take place after that Conditioned Air vehicle pulls into their driveway.”
