February 7, 2014 – 4What is committed to supporting the local community by offering reduced fees on services, donating time, and giving financial contributions to worthy causes.
To continue their history of philanthropic support, 4What is now offering their WIDEO service free to all area not-for-profits. A WIDEO is a web-based video with a person that walks out onto on a website. The video greets the viewer, increase awareness of their services and communicate any message in a much more powerful and comprehensive manner than just the website alone. In a matter of seconds the WIDEO will allow the website visitor to fully comprehend what could normally take more than a minute to absorb with text.
This innovative tool is now in use by not-for-profit organizations to position their messages in front of the community and its donors. Here’s an example. http://habitatcollier.org/habitat-home-store.html
In addition to being free to not-for-profits, 4What’s WIDEO program goes a step further
by connecting other organizations to charitable causes. For instance, a company can make a financial donation to a charity with a WIDEO and have its company logo featured at the beginning of the WIDEO – a win-win for the not-for-profit as well as the company.
“4What has always been committed to help our local community,” says Wade Mastro, 4What COO. “In 2012, we started to offer free WIDEOs to some of our local charities. In 2014, our goal is to reach as many as we can. I feel very strongly that a personal message can be a powerful communication tool that connects with
an audience and creates a bond. This connection is critical for the success of any charitable organization.”
Using tracking and analytics to measure success, the WIDEOs have been proven to be a powerful tool for the charities who want to take advantage of new technologies. 4What is working hard to make sure that all area not-for-profits are aware of the free program in an effort to boost the results and impact of these local groups.
“It’s great to be
able to take the technology we normally use with Fortune 500 companies and give it to our local charities,” says Mastro. “We’re finding it’s a way we can really make a difference.”
