4What Interactive was honored at the 2010 Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership (SWFRTP) Awards ceremony on May 20, 2010 with the Innovention Award for their WIDEO technology.

include MediaBrains, Inc. for the Innovention Award and Arthrex, Inc. and Conditioned Air for the Transformation Award. The Innovention Award is for a SW Florida company that has invented, improved or demonstrated an innovative and creative technology solution to a business challenge. The Transformation Award is given to an organization or business that achieves success through application or implementation of IT to a business challenge.
The awards ceremony shows how our vibrant technology community embraces innovation and showcases the best companies and individuals in our region. It is the only peer awards program for the High Tech industry in Southwest Florida.
The event featured Bill Martin, Chief Information Officer of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, presenting on “No Shore – Technology Challenges at Sea.” Martin is responsible for information technology across Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Azamara, Pullmantur of Spain and Croisieres de France, operating 39 vessels worldwide. The company launched the world’s largest cruise-ship, “Oasis of the Seas” late in 2009. The IT section handles all guest and travel agent functions, a 162,000 square foot call-center, and all shipboard technology.
